Advancing Minimally Invasive Techniques in Gynecology
This immersive half-day workshop is designed for gynecological surgeons seeking to refine their skills in advanced laparoscopic techniques. Join leading specialists as they share their expertise in managing Endometriosis and performing Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy (TLH).
Through in-depth lectures, participants will gain insights into the latest strategies for endometriosis management, the safe application of electrosurgery in gynecology, and how bipolar and advanced energy devices such as Lap BiSect Micro, TriSect rapide®, and Lap BiClamp can aid in surgical precision and efficiency.
The workshop includes a hands-on segment, allowing participants to practice on Gynesim Real Tissue Models and the Endometriosis & TLH Model, simulating real-life precision and technique. Conclude the day with interactive case-sharing sessions, where participants and experts exchange knowledge and address questions in a collaborative setting. Dr Ma Li is an internationally recognized endometriosis specialist and minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon based in Singapore. She oversaw the National University Hospital (NUH) endometriosis service from 2015 to 2024, treating more than 1000 endometriosis cases per year. Her extensive experience and unique diagnostic acumen have equipped her to accurately identify and treat gynaecological disorders.
She graduated from the Medical Training Peking Union Medical College, Tsinghua University in 2007 and obtained her membership of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (MRCOG), United Kingdom in 2013.
Dr Michelle Lim Hui Ping is currently a Consultant at the Minimally Invasive Surgery Unit, Division of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Dr Lim specializes in Minimally Invasive Surgery and her areas of interest include Endometriosis and complex gynaecological surgery. She currently runs clinics at the KKH Minimally Invasive Surgery and Endometriosis Centre.
She graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, Singapore with the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2009 and went on to attain her Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in London, UK in 2014.
Dr Jacqueline Jung is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, currently practising at ACJ Women’s Clinic in Thomson Road. Dr Jung specializes in advanced minimally invasive surgery, with a particular focus on treating gynaecological conditions such as fibroids, cysts, and endometriosis.
Before joining private practice, Dr Jung was a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with the Minimally Invasive Unit at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Dr Jung graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine in London in 2008 and obtained her Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 2015.
